Only a few steps ahead of this Corner Window House to the east lies a well-maintained open space called Swotha Square.
Various historical monuments are scattered around this Square such as a humble two storey temple to Swotha Narayan (Hindu god of preservation) with a prayer
house next door, a nicely sculptured Chaitya, a Jarhun (water reservoir) and a magnificient three tiered temple dedicated to Lord Krishna dominating the
entire Swotha Square.
This early 18th century temple with the most intricately carved wooden structures was restored a decade ago with the financial support from the Kathmandu
Valley Preservation Trust (KVPT) and Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City.
